What is the Beastwaves Event?[]
Beastwaves is a weekly event in Overmortal, where beasts, formidable creatures with intimidating looks, would lay siege to the Great Void Temple from time to time, posing a challenge to all Taoists.
[Introduction][]
To access the event, please tap the [Events] button in the upper-left corner of Town, and you'll see the banner of [Beastwaves] displaying the image, name, and total HP of the invading beast. The beastwave will retreat after the countdown at the top of the interface ends. Strike the beast with Thunderite and attack it as much as you can within the time limit. Once the beast is defeated, you'll get great rewards.

Monster Soul:
As the name suggests, this exchange item of Beastwaves is the soul of monsters. It contains monster power accumulated over hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Legend has it that a Taoist collected monster souls that gave him tremendous power. Another version says that he was corrupted by the power and became a monster himself...
Thunderite:
A useful item for launch attacks in Beastwaves. Ancient Taoists unleashed thunder using Thunderite, reducing evil to ashes in a split second. Taoists often use this in the weekly event "Beastwaves," which offers tons of Gear enhancement materials.

A single Thunderite can deal devastating damage to a beast, bringing it to the brink of death.

Thunderite is crucial for attacks in the Beastwaves event. Its main sources are listed above; so get as much as you can.When used, Thunderite has a chance to deal critical damage. Each beast defeated provides great rewards.
[Victory Rewards][]
Rich rewards await those who claim victory. Main Rewards: Monster Gear Spirit Chest, which contains 5 Rare Gear Spirits for upgrading Carvings for Weapons, Armor, and Accessories; Monster Relic Spirit Chest, which contains 5 Rare Relic Spirits for upgrading Carvings for Relics; Pet Jadeslip, which is essential for unlocking the Pet Index, and you can collect 50 of it to unlock the Pet Index in the Treasure Trove.
[Exchange Shop][]
With the Monster Souls acquired from purchased packs, you can exchange them for rewards in the Exchange Shop. The items here are tiered by floors, with each floor unlocking after you purchase any item on the lower one. It's wise to spend the precious Monster Souls where they count the most — exchange for valuable items like Treasure Tokens, Empyrean Sand, Creation Dews, and Creation Jade.
After exchanging for items on certain floors, you can exchange for bonus Thunderite: 3 for 1F, 6 for 2F, 9 for 3F, 12 for 4F, and 15 for 5F. Unused Monster Souls can be converted to Gear Spirits at the end of the event at a ratio of 1:2. Stay in the Exchange Shop interface, your Max HP will increase slightly at set intervals, which will help you survive longer in battle.
[Rankings][]
Rankings highlight Taoists based on the number of beasts they defeat, detailing their name, server, and the number of defeats. The Top 3 Taoists will be crowned with the titles: Peerless, Excellent, and Outstanding.
As each season concludes, rewards will be tallied, including items such as Empyrean Stones for revamping Legendary or better Gear; Carving Jade for improving the quality of Carvings; and Forgestones for breaking through Gear augmentation bottlenecks. Ascend the rankings for better rewards!
