What is the Cultivation Room?[]
Cultivation Room is where Taoists meditate to gain cultivation (EXP). Here, you can choose your cultivation path between Swordia (Sword Cultivator), a cultivator specialised in sword techniques, Magicka, a cultivator specialised in spells, and Corporia, a body cultivator. Here you can also use Respira, take Pills, and break through, each one explained in this page.

Corporia[]
Corporia Taoists can deal high single-target damage, but have weaker Area of Effect (AoE) capacity in the early Stages.
Corporia breakthroughs can boost your Health Point (HP) and Physical Attack (P.ATK).
Magicka[]
This path's strength lies in its great Area of Effect (AoE) skills and short skill cooldown, but with lower single-target damage and less survability, depending on magic shields to be able to survive fights. These magic shields give Magicka a great advantage in the early stages.
Magicka breakthroughs can boost your Mana Points (MP) and Magical Attack (M.ATK).
Swordia
(Can someone edit this?)
The path’s strength lies in its burst damage through the myriad sword techniques. Unlike Magicka which gets shield for survivability and Corp who gets massive HP,
Breakthroughs are more of a general buff than something in specific to my knowledge(Like one week in…)
How to Choose[]
The choice between Corporia and Magicka depends on your preferences. Both have same growth rate but different playstyle.
Corporia has high single-target damage and high HP, being able to resist more damage, deal high single-target damage and being able to fight for longer compared to a Magicka.
Magicka have less HP but more MP, relying more on shields and AoE attacks, but with also a fair number of single-target damage skills. Also, Magicka is the only path which can attack enemies from afar. However, it is normal for a Magicka to run out of MP and lose a fight since the cost of their skills is very high.
Both have their strengths, so take your pick.
Whether you choose Corporia or Magicka, their weaknesses can be mended in the late Stages. They have distinct focuses but share many similarities. Stick to the path you choose, and you will grow into a mighty Taoist. Don't stress too much about making the decision. Don’t stress because after picking on you can train with the Corporia if you were to choose Magicka. It doesn’t matter what you choose because in the end you can train in both.
Multiple-Path Cultivation[]
If you fancy both and you don't mind being way behind in cultivation level to other Taoists, consider Multiple Path cultivation, which will very slowly remove your weakness and also enable you to use skills from both paths. This is recommended if you reach a server limit in your cultivation but that is rather obvious. The first choice of a dual path is at nascent soul and Voidbreak lets you get another. But your build will never be optimal because the devs have like 3 superior paths they have yet to release(ghostia, sage, and another).
In one-on-one duels, it's almost impossible for a single-path Taoist to defeat a double-path Taoist within the same realm. But here is the catch — Multiple-path Taoists don't have anyone to fight since they are so behind in cultivation to the other Taoist that they will have issues trying to catch them up.
A double-path Taoist cultivation requires a lot more of time and resources than a normal Taoist. It has its pros and cons, so choose wisely.
Cultivation Tips[]
First and foremost, it's important to get your abode aura bonus as high as is feasible. This is done primarily through upgrading your energy array and certain Curios. This can save multiple hours (or days) throughout the stages.
Elixirs are available at the Seeker Shop of the Fatevillion and the Treasure Trove. Don't forget to check the requirements for their use.
Pills are perhaps the biggest influence on your speed of cultivation. They can be bought from the Market or crafted in your abode. Using the highest grade pills possible is very important.
Breaking Through
Once the EXP bar is full, you can break through your stage to the next phase or the next Major Stage. You will need specific Breakthrough Pills to increase the success rate and reduce the recovery time upon failure. When it comes to breaking through to the next Major Stage, be prepared for the Tribulation.
Each Breakthrough Pill is used for only 1 Realm, and is used for all 3 Stages of that Realm:
- Breaking through from the previous realm's Late Stage into the new realm's Early Stage
- Advancing to Middle Stage
- Advancing to Late Stage.
Dual Cultivation[]
Dual Cultivation is when two Companions cultivate together in the Cultivation Room. Doing so gives a boost to cultivation XP gained while Dual Cultivation is active. Companion level 3 is required before Dual Cultivation can be preformed. Dual Cultivation can only be done once every 7 days.
Techniques[]
To Dual Cultivate each partner must chose a Technique they have learned that either, their partner doesn't have, or that is superior in level to their partner's copy of it. While Dual Cultivation has a 7 day cool down period, each Technique has a 30 day cool down period before it can be used again. If done efficiently, this means each companion only needs 5 Techniques that their partner is missing, because by the time the fifth technique's 7 day Dual Cultivation period has ended, the first technique's 30 day cool down period would have completed and is ready to use again.
For this reason, it is highly suggested that companions discuss this together to plan ahead which techniques each of them will get, and which they will temporarily skip and let their partner take first. Note that later on, after you unlock more powerful tiered Techniques to learn, you can choose new ones to temporarily skip, and learn the weaker ones you previously skipped.
Cultivation Bonus and Rate[]
Cultivation EXP is gained on a cycle of 8 seconds, called a Cosmoapsis. The amount that is gained is calculated by the following:
Again, this is per Cosmoapsis. To get a per second speed, divide by 8 and we have 6.97 EXP per second.
Abode Aura[]
Most likely the abode base energy remains at a constant 130, this is the case all the way from Connection to Incarnation.
