What is a Curio?[]
In Overmortal, you can think of a Curio as a special piece of equipment. There are different qualities of Curios, all of which are listed in the Curio Collection - Gallery, with the locked Curios in gray, but you can still view their detailed information though. The Gallery can help you find your favorite Curios and collect them by combing through shards and other sources.
In the Gallery, Curios can be sorted by quality — regular Curios, Epic Curios, or Legendary Curios.
You can also sort them by type: Active or Passive. To use an Active Curio, you must trigger it manually, similar to Abilities, while the effects of Passive Curios are triggered automatically once equipped.
All your Curios are displayed in Curio Collection - Gallery. With its sorting feature, you can view your Curio unlocking progress and find your preferred Curios and Curio sets to obtain.
Where Can I Get Curios?[]
1. Treasure Trove: You can hunt for Curios from the Treasure Trove in Town. You'll need to spend Treasure Hunt Tokens and Fateum to explore, and if you're lucky, you might stumble upon a Curio.
2. Seeker Shop: Some Curios can be bought from the Seeker Shop.
3. Shard Combination: By collecting a certain number of shards, you can combine them into a specific Curio.
How Do I Enhance Curios?[]
As soon as you unlock a Curio, you can start enhancing it. There are two main steps to boosting your Curios: Star-up and Upgrade.
Star Up[]
Each Curio can gain up to 5 stars, each of which enhances its basic and active/passive effects. The star up interface details the improvements and helps you decide if it's worth starring up.
Star-up costs Star-Up Stones, which are special aura-filled stones that can be obtained from the Daily/Weekly Rewards, X-Server Duel Shop, Demonbend Abyss, Creation Pool, Curio Adventure, etc.
Upgrade[]
To upgrade a Curio, you must reach the required Stage and have enough Spiritium and Stardust. Spiritium, a common currency, can be earned in a variety of ways, including Realm Exploration, Goal Rewards, Respira, Sect Tasks, Bounty Quests, etc. The good news is that upgrades don't usually require much Spiritium. Stardust can be obtained from Treasure Hunts, Daily Packs, and purchases.
Once the necessary materials have been collected, the Curio can be upgraded. An upgrade not only levels up the Curio but also boosts its active/passive effects. It's worth highlighting that you should neglect neither Upgrade nor Star-up, as they both play a crucial role in enhancing your Curio.
Curio Goals[]
Curio Goals grant you achievement rewards related to Curios. Each time you reach a collection milestone or a specific star level for your Curios, you'll receive fantastic rewards. These often include Revealstones, Seeker Shop's currency, and Ancient Jadeslips, with 50 of which, you can unlock the Ancient Treasure in the Treasure Trove.
